Players need a Premium membership (or verified Next Gen membership) to find and request coaches. Coaching payments may be arranged directly between coach and player.

Does VellaCourt support tennis and pickleball?
Yes. Both sports have their own player preferences, court filters and discovery options, while sharing one account.
Can I book every court through VellaCourt?
Not yet. VellaCourt helps you discover nearby courts. Where a venue has its own booking service, you can continue to that provider to check times and book.
How do coaching requests work?
Finding, viewing and requesting coaches needs an active paid VellaCourt membership (Premium). You request a suitable time and the coach confirms or declines. The membership covers app access only — the coaching fee is separate and may be arranged directly with the coach.
I'm a Next Gen Doncaster member. Do I need to pay?
Once the Tennis Coordinator verifies your membership, you get every VellaCourt feature with no subscription charge. Session, court and event fees still apply and are paid to the provider — Next Gen sessions keep their own payment verification and six-hour cancellation policy.
Is VellaCourt free to join?
Yes. Courts, players, matches, clubs, events and messages are free. Coach discovery and booking are Premium and need a paid membership, shown with its price in your profile.
